Average. You get what you pay for. Customer service was good. Polite and respectful. Ac units, tv’s, and bathroom could use updating but again cheap rate so happy to just have a clean bed at the end of the day!
Decent place. Carpet needs a change and luggage carts have flats. Otherwise clean rooms and pool. Good location also
We wanted a warm pool to swim in while visiting, and this hotel was recommended as having the warmest pool in Shakopee. The lower reviews made me a bit hesitant, but I decided to book anyway, and I’m so glad I did. The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful. We didn’t see a high chair in the breakfast area, and they noticed right away and brought one out for my toddler. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out. From check-in to check-out, everyone was genuinely friendly. The rooms were very nice, and I can’t wait to come back and see the rest of the renovations completed. The only thing I would change is having sturdier chairs in the pool area. The plastic ones always make me a little nervous. Everyone in my family rated this stay 5 stars, which honestly never happens we’ve never all agreed on a hotel rating before. We had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again.
Service was great and the staff was friendly but the rooms are worn. The carpet was stained in many places in and out of our room, the mattress had a large stain on the side. The room was clean but the hotel needs to invest in new carpet and new mattress protectors.
The hotel is under new management and they are quickly turning things in a positive direction. Everything was very clean. Service was friendly and helpful. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Both the pool and hot tub were at the perfect temperature. The lighting in the hot tub was a little dim. Some of the carpets are showing their age, but these are cosmetic issues that can be easily solved. I would happily stay here again.
Service is really good, great staff. Couldn’t complain. The room is great too, however I just don’t think our room was cleaned before we checked in. I didn’t ask or complain but just a thought, should the rooms be cleaned prior getting someone in? I mean the bed is done and all but there are wrappers of food under the table. I know nobody is perfect, but I hope this is not something normal.
A good hotel. Nothing spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable enough. The location was great - made it to RenFest early. Would have preferred a nice restaurant closer by, but there is a Caribou Coffee just across the way so no complaints.
Stayed here for the Renaissance Faire and this place was only 10 minutes away. Nice place but the beds are very stiff and not very comfortable, the bath tub definitely needs an update but otherwise it had a really good breakfast
